EasySDR turns a computer with an SDRplay, RX-888 or RTL-SDR receiver into a web SDR like these. Install it, pick your devices and bands, forward one port on your router, and your station appears here.

Download EasySDR 0.5.0-1 For 64-bit PCs running Ubuntu 24.04 or newer, or Debian 13 · 1.7 MB

  1. Install it: sudo apt install ./easysdr_0.5.0-1_amd64.deb
  2. For an SDRplay receiver, also install SDRplay's API from sdrplay.com. RTL-SDR dongles work through the rtl-sdr package, which installs with EasySDR.
  3. Open EasySDR settings from your applications menu. Tick your devices and bands, and fill in your station's details and grid square.
  4. Forward TCP port 8074 on your router to the computer, then register the station on the settings page. It appears here within a minute or two.

Can't forward a port (Starlink, mobile internet, an apartment or ISP router)? W2JKT can host your station's page at w2jkt.com instead, with a relay key: ask for one. Then tick “I can't accept incoming connections” on the settings page's Internet section and paste the key.

This is a first release. RX-888 support needs the receiver's firmware file and is experimental.
